Hi, our bodies …
Hi, our bodies function so much better at everything when we have a routine. If your someone who has a hard time sticking to a routine, try writing it down. You don’t have to write down your whole day, perhaps just the evening. When you follow a check list you often get a feeling of completion when you check off things that you have completed successfully. You can do this with your nighttime routine as well. Keep the checklist handy until your routine becomes a habit.

Youtips4U, I am a …
I have problems with sleeping and want to do these tips. My question is how do you stick to the schedule? That’s my biggest problem. Thanks
Youtips4U, I am a new subscriber I love your videos
Hi, I definitely …
Hi, I definitely think you should speak to your doctor first before taking any type of supplement or other medication if you are taking bp medication. You may also want to speak to your doctor about when best to take your blood pressure medication. Perhaps changing the timing of when you take it may help with waking up in the middle of the night with a racing heartbeat.
Hi, thanks so much …
Hi, thanks so much for your very kind words. I really appreciate your feedback and I’m so glad you’re enjoying my videos.
To some people …
To some people saying they wake up from headaches, it could be that you’ve woken up from a deeper sleep state in your cycle and not naturally drifted awake. Try making it so that the place you sleep fills slowly with natural light in the morning to wake you slowly, but blocks any light out at night
@oldgregg93 ok …
@oldgregg93 ok great! i will try out the melatonin tonight and see how it goes.
@BABYJaneta late …
@BABYJaneta late night study is not as good as day time because your body is exhausted and can’t take in as much info. You should try sleeping at 11pm at the latest and instead set study times during your day. A schedule could help and don’t do too much additional studying because you don’t pick up as much. Try and fit 20-30min study sessions occasionally in your day, maybe with breakfast, when your having a break look over notes, stuff like that
@m0sas our body …
@m0sas our body naturally makes melatonin so it shouldnt effect your BP, except reduce it slightly as you are calm. Any additional meds should be ran by your doctor is you have BP problems. Waking up like this could be to do with dreams or stress, but you should ask your doctor next time you are there. To get yourself back to sleep try doing the breathing techniques used in hypnotherapy to calm your body and you should drift off, hope this helps
I really enjoy your …

@BABYJaneta i am on …
@BABYJaneta i am on that EXACT sleeping schedule too, lol. this college life is crazy! One thing i do is ill pick 1 night a week [2, if i have no quizzes or tests] where i wont study at all and i force myself to go to sleep no later than 10, so ill get atleast 8 hrs. Its annoying bc i have to cram all my routine but i feel so much better in the a.m!! It kind of makes the slow week a little faster bc i dont feel so..’blecgh’, ya know? Hope you figure out something that works for you too!
will melatonin …
will melatonin interfere with blood pressure medication? i find with my bp medication i wake up in the middle of the night with a fast heartbeat so its hard to relax and fall back asleep..so id like to be able to sleep through the night without taking dangerous/chemical sleep aids. and also is melatonin a natural supplement? I bought a bottle a while ago but i wasnt sure if i should take it so i just forgot about it. Hope to hear back from you, thanks!
I’m a freshman and …
I’m a freshman and in order to get to the university on time I have to wake up at 6 am.I really want to do well and get good grades, so I stay up late to study and go to sleep at around 12:30-01:30 am, which leaves me with 5-6 hours of sleep per night.I usually feel very tired during the day, especially when I get home (around 4-5pm).Do you think quiting studying late and waking up an hour earlier (at 5 am )for study could be a solution?Any other suggestions you might have a really appreciated!
Hi, when you go to …
Hi, when you go to sleep at night, leave a window open a little to let fresh air into the room. Be sure you are not covered up too warm. Next, examine your pillow. Perhaps it’s too low and your sinuses are not draining causing a sinus headache, or perhaps it too high and your neck is out of alignment which can cause headaches.
any ideas for …
any ideas for vegans (except the tea) ?
@YouTips4U Today …
@YouTips4U Today mine lasted all day until around 5pm. I usually wake up around 8 or 9 am but today I woke up at 11 because I stayed up too late. I’m sure I won’t be getting my period for another week.
@YouTips4U Ok thank …
@YouTips4U Ok thank you
Absolutely. It can …
Absolutely. It can take a few weeks for your body to get used to a new schedule. Your meals are different, the time you have to be alert is different. Give yourself time. See if you can add one more hour to your sleep time. You may feel much better with 8 hours. That’s how it is for me. I really feel the difference. Starting a new job can be stressful, but in a good way, so that can just zap you of energy. Are you exercising? That would really help you have more energy.
Hi, a 2-hour hap is …
Hi, a 2-hour hap is quite a long one. If you have problems falling asleep or staying asleep at night, I wouldn’t recommend it. If, however, you are someone who can nap during the day and have no problem falling asleep at your regular time, then it’s probably fine for you. Everyone is different, but people who have sleeping problems are very sensitive to the amount of nap time they can have before it affects their sleep cycle.
Hi, I sometimes …
Hi, I sometimes wake up with a headache too. Usually, I can attribute it to my sinuses or the position I was sleeping in. If not, I really think it is hormone related as it usually happens around the type of my period.
Hi, yes it does …
Hi, yes it does happen to me once in a while too. It’s best not to put pressure on yourself and worry about being up. Sometimes your brain is just too stimulated. If this happens to me, it will be when I have something really important on my mind and it just keeps going through my mind while I’m trying to fall asleep and I just can’t. Usually the next night, I will go to sleep earlier than I normally do and sleep very deeply with no problem because I was so tired from the night before.
thank you for the …
thank you for the tips, i’ve been having trouble…i can’t fall asleep untill 4 am every day pretty much. this isnt often but when it happens, it happens for days at a time. but the good news is that when i fall asleep, i have a deep sleep…but i wish i could sleep better. i also wake up early afterwards on my own. and i wake up during the night a couple of timse as well.
has this happened to you?
@boddahveryape …
@boddahveryape sleep apnea could be one reason. lack of hydration could be another.
