i’m under a lot of stress lately. i’m working two jobs and both are very stressful. i’m also single for the first time in my life (got divorced last winter) and have lost touch with who i am basically but don’t have the time for hobbies or to reconnect with friends. al i do is work work work to pay my bills then i can’t sleep and am just generally miserable. is their anything i can do about this in limited time without taking perscription meds or herbs?

EVERYONE will say this, so nothing new.. getting a hobby you’re passionate about, making time to visit family and friends, weather it be Skyping, texting or E-mailing. You can’t be alone, basically. It blows and it’s unhealthy. Walk, jog, run, EXCERSIZES! Yoga, waterwaterwater, you need to be healthy and active and doing so pumps blood pressure and happiness
make a difference in a young persons life, stay organized and clean, get out of the dump boy, smell fresh air. I’ve been depressed at the young age of 10-13, and very very depressed, but I overcame it. Maybe a pet, but only if you can handle it: Like an older dog. Tell yourself that your one of many many many people in the world. Thousands of people right now are in the same EXACT spot you are in. YOU CANNOT RUSH IT, YOU CAN NOT GAIN IT IN A LIMITED AMOUNT OF TIME! SIMPLE AS THAT. Jobs cannot take every single minute of every single day. You can find one minute to draw, cook or read, write or bike.

Exercise is the best natural cure for insomnia I know. Drinking milk really does seem to help too. Insomnia is a symptom of depression and anxiety. Maybe working through your issues with a counselor or friend might help, or perhaps meditation. But I’m answering this at 3:20 in the AM so what do I know?
