im 15 and ive had this problem for years. I cant sleep at night but i can sleep perfectly fine during the day. Ive been to a sleep doctor (i dont know what theyre called) and he says i have insomnia. Ive tried sleeping pills, teas, and herbs. Now my doctor is having me try to reset my internal clock, and its the 2nd time he’s had me do this and its still not working. Ive also tried light therapy. I really want to start sleeping during the night instead of the day because i start my 1st year if high school. Is there anything else i could try? also why im i finding it easier to sleep during the day instead?
i’ve had the same problem as you. and even if i sleep-ed in i felt like i wasn’t really sleeping, like i was having a "light" sleep. i tried everything, even foreigner medicine (chinese one specially). then, like a year ago, it was so hot i decided to sleep without any clothes (i know this sounds kinda weird but it was really really hot haha). since then i’ve never had insomnia and i can sleep well. maybe you should try it (:

you can try a muscle relaxer but they dont normally give them out to teens since there very addictive… talk to your doctor about that (:
