Looking For Article On Insomnia Posted @ Yahoo On 10/7 Or 10/8 Ranking Top 10 Medication For Sleeping?

the article was on yahoo’s home page (news), and it dealt with the percentage of people who suffer from insomnia. Within the article, you could read about a research done by some group whereby they ranked the top ten pills/medicine according to effectiveness, side effects, value, etc., etc, I am looking for the name of the ranking # 1. Can not remember it, but it was a natural combination of different herbs and "stuff". Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I do not believe in medicine.

Here, are the 10 ways to combat insomnia.

1. Drink Warm milk
2.Going to bed and wake/get up at a regular, scheduled time every day (including weekends) with a schedule before getting to bed (i.e. movie, shower, book, bed)
3. Never go to bed angry. Try hard not to fight before bed time.
4. Exercise throughout the day, but not within 2 hours before regular bedtime
5. Light Yoga /meditation before attempting to sleep
6. No eating after 7 PM if your bed time is 11 PM
7. Play a soothing CD containing ocean wave sound and mild and mellow sounds of the nature.
8. Read a book in bed
9. No "light" nap in the afternoon. No sleep anytime during the day or just before bedtime.
10. Train your brain to think that bedroom is for sleeping. All activities other than sleeping should be outside of the bedroom.

People think ‘pill-popping’ is a cure all. Far from it. You get dependant. But "training" your system to go to sleep works best and it is also good for you.
