What Are Some Good Solutions To Help Me Sleep And Relieve Stress?

i am extremely stressed and have insomnia what can i do to fix it

  4. Cut as much sugar out of your diet as possible. Start taking in more natural foods like fruits and vegetables. Also, if you aren’t already, start up a workout plan. It doesn’t have to be something extremely intense, but something that gets your mind occupied on the activity for a 30-60 minutes a day.

    Lastly, I recently saw an article online that said using electronics within 2 hours before you go to sleep will increase your risk of insomnia. The bright glare that comes off of laptops, Ipads, TVs, and other electronics fools your brain into thinking that it’s still day time. If you try to go to sleep while watching a TV, maybe try drapping a black cloth over it and just listen to it instead. Either that or switch to a radio.

  5. Do not drink coffee. Believe me. My dad drank 2 cups of coffee everyday for over 30 years. He always had trouble sleeping. Finally, a year ago, he decided to quit drinking it and he sleeps like a rock now. He couldn’t believe that those 30+ years of restless nights were caused by drinking coffee. Just proves that stuff isn’t good for you.

  6. I will make a list and put a star to which is best in my opinion;

    Walking ( Fesh air, helps you think clear, peaceful)*
    Playing Music (Relaxing, Singing & Dancing Fun & Relieves Stress)*
    Excercising ( Sit Ups, Light Jogging/Fast Walking, Jumping on a trampoline)
    Drawing/Writing/Painting- (Relieves stress just drawing or writing about your feelings & problems)
    Watching Films (Comedy’s are good for making you feel good)
    Talking to family and friends (It actaully relieves stress just by talking)
    Making a list of good things and bad things going on in your life (organizing helps you relax)
    Also writing what you’d like to change and what your happy with is good too.
    Taking up a sport or hobby such as playing tennis or walking in the park
    Watch this film, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004. It is a good film, makes u think.
    ( its on ebay for a few pound or hmv.com sells dvds cheap )
    Cooking? Some people enjoy to do that, and when you’ve made something you feel proud.
